YOU, visitor, read this.

It was rather effortless to manipulate you (I can assure you with the utmost certainty). At this current moment in time, one of two things have happened; I am gazing at this screen with you as your eyes scan these words. I’m sitting next to you, behind you or near you, smiling. Smiling, inside, certainly. Or, on the other side of the spectrum, I have informed you directly but most likely, indirectly of this place. I  have went on it purposely, you have seen me go on it. Your pathetic curiosity got the better of you. I have repeatedly shrink-ed/avoided  from entering a direct conversation on the exact purpose of this site to further enhance this curiosity creating a question which pops in your head whenever you see me.  I have given you random and vague answers to the purpose of the site. You think you have leverage over me by insulting me and this rather aimless site, I assure you, it’s just a web of manipulation. This is all for a greater purpose which is further indicated by the hidden section, “The Dysphoric Articles”. The password being the name of the person who is the “goal”, “aim” and end achievement of my rather excessive, also pathetic, manipulation. You will know who you are and your relation to me when you’ve entered your name. And if, after entering your name, the section containing the article unlocks.

Yours sincerely,

Your troubled, super-sane, NPD (+ 7 PD) creation.

Super-Sanity

Super-Sane has always been hard to define. It’s a term rarely used because of the rarity of it’s application in reality.

A sane person is someone has a general idea, a common shared idea amongst other sane people of what is morally right and what is morally wrong. An insane person is someone who has a “messed up” sense of what is morally right and what is morally wrong. He sees the world differently to a sane person. A Super-Sane person however is someone who see’s past all the illusions cast by the world. Being truly neutral.

For Example: Think of humans as puppets pulled by some invisible puppeteer. You have the sane people unaware that they are being controlled by the norms of society, the invisible strings. You have the insane who are aware of some sort of pull on them, they cannot see the strings but they are aware of them. They fight against the strings disrupting society.

Then you have Super-Sane. Those who are not only aware of the strings but can see them clearly. They see the strings control every single action of humans including themselves. They accept the strings, accept to simply observe.

To quote others thoughts on the subject:

1) So sane that you see through the social controls and the social construction of social reality

2) Being ’super-sane’ is being able to place yourself objectively in whatever situation with the mindset of taking whatever role is most advantageous to you.

3) Going to go after the fabricated illusion of normalcy maintained by society.

4) It’s like the opposite of insane. You’re much more fully aware of the world around you.

5) I guess it’s supposed to be like this:

Sane (ticking clock) – aware of one’s actions (everyone on this board hopefully); able to comprehend and conform to social norms (we know why it’s wrong to murder)

Insane (broken clock) – unaware or unable to control one’s actions (hence why people can plead insanity to murder and receive treatment instead of getting the chair); unable to comprehend or conform to social norms

Super sane (man who looks at the clock) – aware of society beyond a comprehensible scale

6) Being hyper aware of things, and that makes it hard for you to maintain any singular personality. You can just go with the flow of your thoughts.

Characteristics of the Super-Sane

This article is written with no definite certain. Picking up from Article #2, let’s call our Super-Sane being: Bob. Bob is quite simply Super-Sane.

You will see some references back to Article #2.

Bob will have a range of disorders with all the pros and without all the cons. Ataraxia being one of them. Ataraxia is freedom from worry. He would not experience worry under any circumstance however extreme. This allows him to act and react logically in every situation even if the outcome is death. This spans into being nearly fearless. Fear, common rational fear that is, sparks from the concept of/end result of Death. This is a natural fear embedded within every living being. The Super-Sane are exempt from this; to put it simply, they don’t fear death. The Super-Sane can have irrational fears, fears that do not result in death, such as fears of Moths, Deep Water in some cases. But they do not fear death.

It is also impossible for Bob to maintain a singular personality: meaning it is impossible for him to remain one person or exhibit the characteristics of one personality for a long time. Every human has one personality, they can change their personality throughout their lives either willingly or through general adaption to the environment and their experiences (Sane: Introversion OR Extroversion). People usually locked up in mental institutions could have DID – Dissociative Identity Disorder or Schizophrenia meaning they exhibit more than 1 personality. They exhibit 2 personalities. They could range from a kind, gentle personality to a vicious, psychotic personality. They are unable to control which personality is in control and usually suffer from memory lapses as the switch between personalities is made (Insane: Introversion AND Extroversion).

Bob however would have 3. Unlike typical multi-personality beings, none of his personalities are of danger to society since he is in full control of them. These personalities are based around Introversion, Ambiversion and Extroversion. (Super-Sane: Introversion AND Ambiversion AND Extroversion).

Definition of the terms:

Introvert: A person who is energized by spending time alone. One who focuses on the inner world of thoughts and ideas. One who gains energy from alone time, one who thinks before they speak. Do not confuse introvert with a “loner”. Introverts can lead great social lives but still prefer the company of his/her selves.

Extrovert: A person who is extremely hedonistic and  finds energy in the presence of others. One who is outgoing, assertive, and very sociable.

Ambiversion: Normally comfortable with groups and enjoys social interaction, but also relishes time alone and away from the crowd.

Bob is able to easily switch between these 3 psychological personalities. This stems from the understanding that the Super-Sane have in general of society and behavior as explained in Article #2.

Bob will also be a natural genius in the field of psychology. That is not to be confused with the academic side of psychology: degree and education background in Psychology. He will have a natural talent for predicting human behavior exact to the most likely probability. He would be able to detect lies the instant they are uttered almost 90% of the time as opposed to trained, expert human lie detectors capable of catching a lie 60% of the time. He would be able to naturally catch microexpressions and differentiate between facial expressions and emotions.

This characteristic could give birth to several things including: Manipulation of the extreme sense (as easy as playing Chess), Pathological Lying (The highest order of lying, impossible to detect even by lie detector machines aka Polygraph machines).

The Super-Sane also experience the extremities of human emotion. Where a normal human would experience infatuation with the opposite sex, Bob would experience limerence (near-obsessional love). Where humans emotions are neutral ranging from happiness to depression (Again humans can only experience one at a time, back to the idea of a single personality. So you would either experience happiness or depression. And could change between the 2), Bobs emotions would be at the extremities ranging from extreme euphoria (usually his extrovert personality) or extreme dysphoria (usually his introvert personality).

In short, his Ambivert personality is the anchor tying him down, stopping him from going insane or even sane.

Lying and Detecting Lies

There is no certain of way of detecting lies despite general misconceptions amongst people. Lie detectors do not detect lies. Lie Detectors more professionally known as Polygraph machines form a baseline of what a person is like when they are at peace or calm. This includes heart rate, skin temperature, pupil dilation and sweating amongst other factors. This baseline is compared with the conditions the subject experiences when he is answering questions.

But changes in heartbeat during questions/answers does not mean he is lying. You have to consider the external factors that may effect the subjects conditional. Factors such as sexual arousal and general nervousness (who likes to be questioned in a dark room?. This can lead to increased heart rates and sweating which can be mistaken for signs of lying.

There is no universal sign of lying. Everybody has their own, an ever-changing system, of body language which can be used to tell if a person is uncomfortable or is hiding something. But not lying. This is why lie detector results are not sufficient evidence to be counted within the courtroom or in a case.

As popularized in the American TV show, Lie To Me, facial expressions (body language specific to the face) and micro expressions (emotions that flicker on the face for less than a second are not signs of lying either.

Emotions are subjective meaning they can be taken anyway and in any context. Because someone is nervous, it does not mean they are lying neither does being calm mean that they are telling the truth.

For example, you tell a father his son is dead and the father has an angry outburst: what does that tell you?

  • He is shocked and goes into denial
  • He already knows and is angry at you for reminding him
  • He is angry because your brought it up, acting as though he is a suspect
  • He thinks it’s your fault
  • He’s being angry to conceal hurt
  • He’s being angry to conceal pleasure

As you can see above there is numerous explanations. Therefore to use signs (cliched) to evaluate people and accuse them of various matters is slander. Everybody is different, one person may blink excessively when lying and another may blink a few times a minute. One person may lick their lips when lying while another moves his tongue within his tightly closed mouth.

Don not presume you are an expert at lying after reading material in books or on the Internet. Out of 100,000 people only 50 people will be natural lie detectors. See: Diogenes project.

However if they are several signs to changed behavior within a person: Avoiding the question, long pauses between answering, changing of body position, increased stuttering (which could also be caused by the motion of being accused in front of people), pupil dilation, unable to recall his own lie backwards (reverse events), changes in story when retold, aggressive positions, awkwardness during silences and adding of unnecessary details – only then can you include the person is hiding something or is not telling the whole truth. This depends on how “badly” these motions are potrayed. A person loses more and more control over his body as his brain works to make up stories (lies) therefore these signs are more obvious compared with a person who exaggerates and lies occasionally.

None of the above apply to Pathological Liars. A pathlogical liar is the best liar you will ever come across. They can fool lie detector/polygraph tests. But that topic is for another time.
